Little Dancer
Inspired by the Olympic Figure Skaters, Joss dressed herself up and decided to bust a few of her best moves!!
Frenectomies!
Both Jake AND Tye had Frenectomies yesterday. They were amazingly brave! Especially considering the appointment yesterday was only for Jake. The dentist made room in his schedule (since we are loyal patients, driving almost 2hrs to their fantastic pediatric office) at the last minute to fit Tye in and he was an absolute champion!! They both made it through the night no problem and after their breakfast of ice cream and popcicles, they have even eaten some solid foods. They are well on their way to recovery!! Such great boys!

Busy, busy, busy!
We have been so busy. Between chaperonning dances, 3 different Valentine's Day parties, volunteering in each of the kids' classes, birthday parties, sports events, snow boarding, RE, date nights (we've made them a weekly event!), taking back up running, staying at the RV, teaching through the day with no planning period and all 3 kids +Nick sick with the stomach flu...it's been a busy Feburary!
We got ready and headed off to church.
The kids were on cloud nine.
Ready for their important jobs at the Children's Liturgy.
Tye was an usher, handing out books and bullitins and greeting the churchgoers.
We were early so the usher could get to work so I took a few pictures of Joss and Jake.
They were all smiles.
Saying a few before Mass prayers with very special intentions.
Durning Mass, Jake first collected the offeratory.
Then, he got to carry the wine to be consecrated.
After Mass, they were so proud and excited to take part again very soon.
Today it really hit home that this time next Lenten Season, Jake will be making his 1st Communion!!

Sorry for the delay!
Happy Belated 2010!!
We had a great start to the year. January was a jam packed with fun.
Last weekend, April and I took the kids (my 3 and her 2: Braedon not pictured here) to the Apex Center...a huge indoor waterpark.
Of course, we've spent plenty of time at Breck snow boarding. Here, Joss waits inside the lodge with me.
We met Grammy Gail at the RV for dinner and had our late Christmas together. She gave the boys wooden rifles with their names and other special symbols carved into them...they absolutely LOVE them!
Joss watched figure skating and decided to give the moves a try.
In her shnazzy outfit.
I think she was getting the hang of it! LOL
(Jake's in 1st)
Tye is loving school and Religious Education this year. He even got Star of the Week in his PreK class. And Jake earned the Soar Catcher last week too!
The boys had a blast chasing girls in one of the play areas.
There were 2 "real" slides, huge ones, that you can take tubes down. Jake was the only one old enough to do it alone and he sure took advantage of that!! He must have gone down the big slides 15 times and swam out of the deep rapids at the bottom.
Who new chasing girls was such a big part of being a 5 and 6 year old boy!!
Joss was very unsure of the water. Alyssa insisted she wear water wings. They lasted about 5 minutes.
The boys however, swung from ropes, climbed rope ladders, swam the tornado pool and even crossed the giant lily pads.
Here, Tye swings from the ropes...as you pull the ropes, water sprays down at you!
It really was a blast.
Tuckered out from the day.
We found out the next day that Joss was catching a bad cold, tis why she had the attitude (pictured) at waterpark.
Inside the Apex Center, we almost forgot it was a whopping 35 degrees outside!
Here are the kids in a goofy miror that made them look like they were a foot tall. We nearly rolled on the ground with laughter.
