We went to our home mountain Breckenridge for the first time this season with the kids. Chase generously joined us to help Nick get the boys back up and riding their snowboards.
Don't let all the gear fool you! It was a nice 45 degrees and sunny all day! A perfect day for the first day back on the slopes.
Joss and I followed the boys to the lift to watch them on their first ride up and run down. Jake strapped in first and rode the chair with Chase.
Didn't take too long for them get the swing of things for their 2nd season.
Joss cheered them on in between bites of snow.
She waited patiently for "her boys" to come down the mountain.
In the distance, you can see Jake in his green coat....notice the adults fallen down in the in picture!!!
Chase was a big help strapping and unstrapping the bindings.
Joss and I got a prime spot to hang out on the deck of the lodge for us all to hang out. We could even watch each other ride down each time.
Not much snow yet but still beautiful.
We traded off riding all day. When we weren't riding we got to enjoy the views.
You can see the lines in the background of this photo...although, it wasn't as bad as I had anticipated for Thanksgiving weekend.
Joss mostly just looked cute.
The 4 guys coming to relieve mom for some runs.
Between riding, the boys and Joss enjoyed some booty sledding.
Creative little fellas, even built a little jump at the bottom of the hill to launch themselves off of!
A smiley Jake said "I had forgotten how much fun snowboarding is! I LOVE it!"
The newly 5 Tysen will be riding sans mom and dad in no time at all!!
Wow- I got chilly just looking at these pictures. Your kids are crazy good snowboarders. I have never even been skiing or snowboarding!
