Mom and Dad came to visit and we took them to Keystone to go skiing.
Inside the Gondola on the ride up to the top of the mountain.
The kids can't get enough of their beloved grammy and papa.
Joss was a perfect angel hanging out in the lodge and playing at the top of the mountain nearly all day.
Grammy and Papa prepare for their 1st run of the season.
It was a beautiful day to be on the slopes.
Everyone's all strapped in a heading out to drop in together.
Meanwhile, back in the lodge, Chase hunted down the Keystone Dog for Josslyn.
Everyone took turns stopping in the lodge and making runs with the kids.
The usual self portrait with the boys.
Today we went to lunch in Denver...
And Joss was lovey as ever!
Everyone enjoyed their meal.
And then we caught a movie: Alvin and the Chipmunks...the boys laughed and laughed and Joss rocked out in Grammy's lap.
Later Grammy and Papa suggested I let the kids walk out on our neighborhood pond. It's kept nicely groomed and the HOA supplies iceskate for the residents. I suppose 8inches thick is plenty but something about walking on ice still really freaks me out!
Other people were playing hockey on the ice while the kids learned to slide on the ice with their shoes.
Grammy was the sliding pro!
Finally, ready to head home for the night.
Tomorrow: Skiing (and snowboarding) at Breckenridge!!
Glad to hear you are all having a good time! And believe me, 8" of ice is PLENTY to walk on and most people here in Minnesota would be driving their vehicles on that much!!!! Enjoy!
