Jake and I had a full day of snowboarding together while Daddy hung out with Joss and Tye at the camper.
Jake and I warmed up on a nice Green run and then...
...we went to the top of the mountain to tackle the Blues!
The usual "self-portrait" of us on the lift!
Just before dropping in on the steep slope, Jake stopped so I could take a picture. You can see that it drops off behind him!!
Preparing to drop in!
Our 1st ride ever on the "Big Boy Snowboard Park" lift.
Tuckered out after a long day of difficult terrain, we rode the Gondola down to the car.
March 9th, Joss turned 3 years old!!
She chose to go to a movie, so we all saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D!
It was a BLAST!
The birthday girl loved the movie and pretended to be Alice for days afterwards!
We all LOVED the movie.
Joss got lots of fun presents including a matching "Mommy and Me" necklace, a new bike, money in her Education Fund, some cute clothes and lots of gift cards.
Jake is so grown up....nearly a 2nd grader if you can believe that!!
Joss continues to be the most naturally hilarious child anyone has ever met!
And Tysen, only a half inch shorter than Jake now, is still incredibly kind and empathetic. His Preschool teacher said he is "more than ready for Kindergarten" (he's smart as a whip!) but she wishes she could have Tye another year!
Only took about 5 minutes and Joss had the peddling down!! Quite the coordination she has!!
We spent the day outside, riding bikes and skate boarding.
Both boys are getting good at skateboarding.
They love anything with wheels or a board...hence skateboarding being amongst their favorite things to do.
Lookin' good on her new bike!
Practicing kick-flips.
On the way to a friends' house.
As a reminder...Joss entirely dresses herself!
We visited Auntie Erin while she coached club volleyball at a tournament in Denver! I LOVE YOU, E!
We got to know downtown Denver and had lots of fun at the Denver Convention Center.
That's a giant blue bear outside the Convention Center.
All in all...it's been a fantastic start to March!
Hi Dani - great pictures again! The kids are growing up too darn fast! Enjoy them!
